Robert Malerman founded Abcom Telecommunications in 2009 after reading an influential O'Reilly book on VoIP technology that ignited his passion for the industry.
A recognized VoIP community leader, Robert has served as an editor on the FreePBX forums and is listed as a “guru” on voip-info.org. That deep, hands-on expertise flows directly into every Abcom deployment.
He still believes in a completely hands-on approach — you’ll often find Robert himself handling sales consultations and support tickets to ensure every client gets the white-glove treatment.
When he’s not running the PBX and internet backbone as IT & Communications Chairperson for the Philadelphia Folk Festival (and supporting the Philadelphia Folksong Society), Robert proves that real-world, mission-critical experience matters.
